Longhua Bridge is located at Jishan Street in Shaoxing City, on the east side of Guangning Bridge. This bridge is next to Longhua Temple, that's why the bridge is called “Longhua” Bridge. Longhua Bridge is a single hole stone bridge, rebuilt in Ming Dynasty (1630). It is a cultural protection unit in the city. Longhua Bridge is the only remaining gate bridge in Shaoxing that was used to regulate the water level.

Longhua Bridge is located next to Longhua Temple. The temple is very ancient, first built in the Southern Dynasty (447). Longhua Bridge is now a little bit deserted, with green plants growing around the bridge; there are few people walking pass the bridge. Near Longhua Bridge there is another bridge called “Puti Bridge” (it looks like a modern bridge); Puti Bridge is connected to one entrance of Longhua Temple.
